Bulit among cherry orchards, or cherry trees planted around it, this beautiful wooden house is located in Karagac, a small town in North Western Turkey close to the border with Greece. Karagac used to be an important centre in the early 20th c. in the last days of the Ottoman Empire. This house is found next to the former grandiose building of the Railway Station that now houses the University of Thrace. Photo taken in May 2006. |
